Measuring Guide
To ensure the perfect fit for your custom pieces, please use the guide below when measuring yourself. Whether you're shopping for waistbeads, anklets, bracelets, necklaces, or clothing, taking accurate measurements ensures your adornments and garments feel as good as they look.
Waistbeads
Measure the area where you want your waistbeads to rest. This may be your natural waist, below your navel, or along your hips.
Instructions:
1. Use a soft measuring tape.
2. Stand up straight, relaxed, and measure against bare skin.
3. Wrap the tape around the desired area and make sure it’s snug but not tight.
4. Record the number where the tape meets.
5. Double-check your measurement before submitting.
Anklets
Measure the part of your ankle where you'd like the anklet to sit.
Instructions:
1. Use a soft measuring tape or a string and ruler.
2. Wrap it around the ankle comfortably—not too tight.
3. Add 0.25"–0.5" if you prefer a looser fit.
Bracelets
Measure around your wrist where you'd like the bracelet to rest.
Instructions:
1. Wrap a soft measuring tape around your wrist.
2. For a snug fit, use the exact measurement.
3. For a more relaxed fit, add up to 0.5".
Necklaces
Measure from the base of your neck downward to where you want the necklace to fall.
Tip: Use a string and ruler if you don’t have a tape measure handy. Refer to standard lengths (e.g., 16", 18", 20") for layering styles.
Clothing
When ordering handmade garments, accurate body measurements are key to a great fit.
Common Measurements:
+ Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest.
+ Waist: Measure your natural waistline, typically the narrowest part of your torso.
+ Hips: Measure the widest part of your hips.
+ Inseam: For pants, measure from your inner thigh down to your ankle.
+ Length: Measure from your shoulder (or waist) to desired hemline.
